Greek Cyprus says it wants to avoid EU crisis with Turkey

Greek Cypriot leader Tassos Papadopoulos said yesterday he was trying to avert a collision course with Turkey over its refusal to allow access to Greek Cypriot ships and planes under an European Union customs accord.
