What is EUTCC?

EUTCC was established in order to monitor and conduct regular audits of the European Commission's performance in ensuring Turkey's full compliance with the accession criteria as defined within the meaning of the accession agreements.

Babacan to embark on EU tour

Facing criticism for not doing enough to advance Turkey's bid to join the European Union, State Minister Ali Babacan, who is also Turkey's chief negotiator for EU talks, will tour European capitals and meet with officials in the Netherlands and Brussels.
